Broccoli with Tomatoes Greek Style
Ingredients:
1/8 tsp salt (optional)
1 Lbs. broccoli florets\cooked
1/4 tsp oregano
1 cups Italian style peeled tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp olive oil
Cooking Directions:
Heat oil in a heavy non-reactive saucepan over medium high heat. Add garlic, tomatoes and oregano and simmer uncovered 2-3 minutes. Add broccoli, salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and simmer 7-8 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
